Unleash the Power with the Predator Raptor PRL-09
The Predator Raptor PRL-09 is a high-performance 12.8V 9Ah Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) starting battery, engineered for motorcycles, ATVs, scooters, personal watercraft and other powersport applications requiring strong starting performance in a compact, lightweight package.
Delivering 270 CCA and 108Wh of power while weighing approximately 1.4kg, the PRL-09 provides impressive cranking performance without the weight of a traditional lead-acid battery. LiFePO4 chemistry also provides a long service life, with Predator stating up to three times the cycle life of equivalent lead-acid batteries.
Intelligent BMS Protection
An integrated Battery Management System (BMS) actively monitors and protects the PRL-09 against abnormal voltage, current and temperature conditions. This helps protect the battery while maintaining reliable performance across demanding powersport applications.
Bluetooth Battery Monitoring
Built-in Bluetooth connectivity allows the PRL-09 to communicate with the Predator Raptor App. Users can monitor important battery information and configure functions including hibernation behaviour and Shake to Wake settings from a compatible smartphone.
Shake to Wake & Intelligent Hibernation
Predator's Shake to Wake technology is particularly useful for motorcycles and recreational vehicles that may sit unused for extended periods.
In Intelligent Mode, the battery can enter hibernation when configured criteria are met or when it approaches its discharge limit, helping preserve sufficient energy for starting. Simply moving the vehicle can wake the battery from hibernation.
HyperFlex Fitment System
The HyperFlex Fitment System combines quad terminals with EVA spacers, allowing the PRL-09 to replace several conventional powersport battery sizes. The standard battery measures 149 × 86 × 130mm, with spacer configurations allowing heights of approximately 145mm and 160mm.
