Return and Refund Policy
At 1224.com.au – Dependable Power Solutions, a trading brand of Cell Revival Pty Ltd (ABN 61 085 247 749), the goal is straightforward: you should feel confident about your purchase.
Because we deal in power, battery, and electrical products, we need to keep returns fair while maintaining clear limits that protect product condition and resale value. That balance means returns are available when needed, but items must remain in a standard condition suitable for resale.
This policy has two sections: Change of Mind Returns and Faulty, Damaged, or Warranty Claims.
1. Change of Mind Returns (30-Day Policy)
If you've ordered the wrong item or simply changed your mind, you can request a return within 30 days of receiving your order. For a change-of-mind return to be accepted, the product must be in resale-ready condition.
- Unused and untested: It must not have been powered on, plugged in, connected to a power source, mounted, installed, or wired into anything.
- Original packaging: Return the item in its original packaging, undamaged, with seals, protective caps, manuals, and any included accessories all present and intact.
- Proof of purchase: A receipt or invoice is required for any refund or replacement.
- Tags: All product tags must still be attached.
- Change of mind shipping costs: We don't charge for approved change of mind returns. Once your return request has been approved, 1224 will provide you with a prepaid return shipping label at no cost. We also don't charge any restocking fees, making the return process as simple and hassle-free as possible.
- Items not eligible for change-of-mind returns: Some products can't be returned simply because you no longer want them. This includes custom-built battery packs, business special orders, or items that have been personalised (for example, labelled with your name). If you're unsure whether your item is eligible, contact us and we'll go through the options with you.
- Exchanges: If you need a different product quickly, return the original item through the standard return process. Once your return is approved, you can place a separate online order for the replacement.
- Refund processing times: Once the return arrives, we'll inspect it and contact you. If it meets the conditions above, your refund will be issued back to the original payment method. Banks and card providers might take a few extra days to finalise the funds in your account. If 15 business days have passed and you still haven't heard from us or the refund hasn't appeared, email us at sales@1224.com.au.
2. Faulty, Damaged, or Warranty Issues
Check your order as soon as it arrives. If something is damaged, faulty, or not what you ordered, let us know right away so we can sort it out. Email sales@1224.com.au and we will take it from there.
- How to start a return: Contact our support team first at sales@1224.com.au. Returns must be approved before anything is sent back. A return authorisation is required; items sent without approval can't be accepted. After approval, we'll provide the return address and clear step-by-step instructions.
- Packaging not required: If an item is faulty, you're still entitled to a repair or replacement even if it has been opened, tested, or the packaging is no longer available.
- Shipping covered for faults or our errors: If your item arrives damaged or defective, or we've supplied the wrong product, we cover return shipping. This will be done by providing a prepaid label or arranging a courier pickup.
- Refund processing times: After your return is received and checked, we'll contact you. If a refund applies, it will be processed back to the original payment method. Please allow a few additional days for your bank or credit card provider to complete the transaction. If 15 business days have passed and you still haven't heard from 1224, or you're still waiting on the refund to show in your account, contact us at sales@1224.com.au.
3. Consumer Guarantees
We back what we sell. Under Australian Consumer Law, you have protections, including the right to a refund or replacement if a product fails to meet consumer guarantees.
For more detail on your rights, visit the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) website.
