Return and Refund Policy
At 1224.com.au – Dependable Power Solutions, a trading brand of Cell Revival Pty Ltd (ABN 61 085 247 749), our goal is straightforward: you should feel confident about your purchase.
Because we specialise in power, battery and electrical products, some items may no longer be suitable for resale once they have been powered on, connected, installed or used. For this reason, change-of-mind returns must meet the conditions outlined below.
This policy has two sections: Change of Mind Returns and Faulty, Damaged, or Warranty Claims.
This policy has two sections: Change of Mind Returns and Faulty, Damaged, or Warranty Claims.
1. Change of Mind Returns (30-Day Policy)
If you've ordered the wrong item or simply changed your mind, you can request a return within 30 days of receiving your order. For a change-of-mind return to be accepted, the product must meet the following resale-ready conditions:
Unused and untested: The product must not have been powered on, plugged in, connected to a power source, mounted, installed or wired into anything.
Original packaging: The product must be returned in its original packaging, undamaged, with seals, protective caps, manuals and all included accessories present and intact.
Proof of purchase: A receipt or invoice is required for any refund or replacement.
Tags: All product tags must still be attached.
Change-of-mind return shipping: There is no return shipping charge for an approved change-of-mind return. Once your return request has been approved, 1224 will provide a prepaid return shipping label at no cost. We also do not charge a restocking fee.
Items not eligible for change-of-mind returns: Some products cannot be returned simply because you no longer want them. This includes custom-built battery packs, business special orders and personalised items (for example, products labelled with your name). If you're unsure whether your item is eligible, contact us and we'll go through the options with you.
Exchanges: If you need a different product, return the original item through the standard return process. Once your return is approved, you can place a separate online order for the replacement.
Refund processing: Once your return arrives, we'll inspect it and contact you. If it meets the conditions above, your refund will be issued to your original payment method. Banks and card providers may take a few additional days to process the funds. If 15 business days have passed and you haven't heard from us or your refund hasn't appeared, email us at sales@1224.com.au.
2. Faulty, Damaged, or Warranty Issues
Check your order as soon as it arrives. If something is damaged, faulty, or not what you ordered, let us know right away so we can sort it out. Email sales@1224.com.au and we will take it from there.
How to start a return: Contact our support team at sales@1224.com.au before sending an item back. We'll provide return instructions and, where required, a return authorisation and return address. Contacting us first helps ensure your return is handled correctly and as quickly as possible.
Packaging not required for faulty products: If a product is faulty, you do not need to have retained the original packaging to make a claim. Faulty products may have been opened, tested or used before a fault became apparent.
Return shipping for faults or our errors: If your product arrives damaged or defective, or we've supplied the wrong product, 1224 will cover the reasonable cost of returning it. Depending on the circumstances, we'll provide a prepaid return shipping label, arrange a courier collection or provide other appropriate return instructions.
Refund processing: After your returned product is received and assessed, we'll contact you regarding the outcome. If a refund applies, it will be issued to your original payment method. Banks and card providers may take a few additional days to process the funds. If 15 business days have passed after a refund has been approved and it hasn't appeared in your account, contact us at sales@1224.com.au.
3. Consumer Guarantees
Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
If a product does not meet a consumer guarantee, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, refund or other remedy depending on the circumstances and whether the failure is major or minor.
Our 30-Day Change-of-Mind Returns Policy is provided in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. The conditions that apply to change-of-mind returns, including requirements relating to product use and original packaging, do not limit your rights where a product is faulty, defective or otherwise fails to meet a consumer guarantee.
For more information about your consumer rights, visit the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) website.
