At 1224, we deliver throughout Australia. To provide the best service and pricing, we compare Australia Post and various courier companies, including TNT, TFM, Xpress, Toll, Hunter, Aramex, Startrack and Couriers Please before arranging delivery.
Delivery Costs
All shipping from 1224 is included free of charge
Delivery costs are calculated using the online calculators of Australia Post and courier companies. Factors that determine the cost include:
The delivery address provided by the customer (calculations consider whether the delivery is to a business or residential address, remoteness of location, distance from the pick-up site, etc.);
The weight and dimensions of the package;
Other fees and charges such as a fuel levy.
Delivery Terms
- Deliveries are made during business hours.
- Please note that couriers do not deliver to Post Office Boxes, so a residential or business address must be provided.
- You can leave instructions for a safe drop-off location during the checkout process. However, we cannot take responsibility for items left by courier if no one is home. The items are left at your own risk. Alternatively, consider having items delivered to your workplace if it's more convenient.
Delivery Timeframe
After your payment, please allow our team reasonable time for your order to be picked, quality checked, packed, booked and collected by a courier, normally within 2 to 16 business hours.
Custom orders such as cables with connectors may take additional time for assembly. Delivery times after dispatch vary based on the delivery address location and whether the item is dispatched by air or road.
- Delivery times to major cities generally take
o Southern Eastern states 2 to 5 business days,
o North Queensland 4-10 business days,
o Perth 4-8 business days, and
o Darwin 5-14 business days.
- Non-metro areas - May require an additional 1-3 days, and remote areas may require 7+ days additional time.

Delivery Tracking
We provide tracking/consignment numbers and delivery details to customers. You can track the status of your delivery using the website links we provide.
If you encounter issues with tracking, or your order doesn't seem to be progressing, please contact us so we can follow up with Australia Post or the courier company.
Lost or Damaged Packages
- If your parcel arrives damaged, please report this to us within 24 hours of receipt. Include photos of the damaged box or satchel.
- The shipping insurance ends 5-7 days after delivery depending on the courier, after which the item is considered to have been damaged post-delivery, voiding any refundable amount.
- If your package arrives intact but the items inside are faulty, please refer to our Returns Policy.
Stolen Packages
- We recommend monitoring the shipment tracking link for updates.
- Couriers will drop off parcels at the delivery address and leave them based on the delivery instructions or at the driver's discretion.
- Once delivery is confirmed by the courier, the delivery insurance and delivery policy ends.
- 1224 is not responsible for items stolen after confirmed delivery.
- We recommend having items delivered to a location where someone is always home or a business address.
- If items are stolen and you provide a statutory declaration or evidence of the theft, 1224 may offer to provide replacement items at a discounted price on a new invoice.
